Provence and Camargue Photography Tour with Light & Land
The Camargue, located along the French coast between Montpellier and Marseille, is renowned for its salt marshes, white horses, and pink flamingos. This photography tour offers a fantastic chance to capture these incredible creatures, along with the famous pink salt flats of the region.
Provence is most celebrated for its lavender fields, but visiting during the cooler months, away from peak tourist season, allows you to discover the rich artistic history of this stunning area, where Vincent van Gogh spent his final years creating remarkable works of art.
We will not be short of inspiration during this tour, with numerous photographic opportunities to explore. Art enthusiasts will love our visits to many of the iconic settings featured in Van Gogh's paintings. Charlotte and I love exploring creative possibilities with our photography, and we will encourage you to experiment with these, enabling you to recreate some of his masterpieces with your own interpretation.
Both Arles and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence boast charming old-world French architecture, while the surrounding landscapes will further ignite your creativity. Additionally, we will visit Roussillon, famous for its ochre pigment that was mined and exported globally in the 18th century. Recognised as one of France’s most beautiful villages, we will explore both the rugged quarries and the village itself.
To complete the tour, we will visit some of the picturesque villages and landscapes around Roussillon.
Join Charlotte Bellamy and me in the south of France for this photographic feast!
