Cosmopolitan Liverpool
Light & Land Workshop
Light & Land founder Charlie Waite will join me for this exciting workshop in Liverpool.
The ‘Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City’ was a UNESCO World Heritage Site from 2004 to 2021 - testament to the historical significance of the development of port and city, which accelerated in the 18th century and has taken an interesting positive turn lately.
We will start our Cosmopolitan Liverpool workshop at the city's Metropolitan Cathedral, a spectacular building, the likes of which one is hard pressed to find elsewhere. The group will then move to the city’s waterfront with its eclectic mix of old and new architecture, where we will have countless opportunities to capture Liverpool’s cosmopolitan character and rustic charm.
The abundance of subject matter will allow us to use various techniques and shoot in colour or black & white, capture strong graphics, abstract shapes, colours and reflections as well as street scenes and architecture. Charlie and I will be at hand to help you develop your vision and explore different approaches, so that you can be sure to return with memorable images of one of England’s most exciting waterfront cities.
